TAI CHI CHUAN IS KNOW AS MEDITATION IN MOTION. IT WAS ORIGINALLY
DEVELOPED IN CHINA FOR SELF-DEFENSE BUT EVOLVED INTO A GRACEFUL FORM
OF EXERCISE THAT IS NOW USED FOR STRESS REDUCTION AND TO HELP WITH A
VARIETY OF HEALTH CONDITIONS.TAI CHI IS A NONCOMPETITIVE SELF-PACED
SYSTEM OF PHYSICAL EXERCISE AND STRETCHING. TO DO TAI CHI, YOU
PERFORM A SERIES OF MOVEMENTS IN A SLOW GRACEFUL MANNER. TAI CHI HAS
BEEN KNOWN TO HELP LOWER HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, INCREASE THE
PRACTITIONER'S BALANCE & PROMOTE HEALING THROUGH STRESS REDUCTION.
LEARN HOW TO STRETCH & STRENGTHEN YOUR TENDONS, CIRCULATE THE BLOOD,
WASH AND TONE INTERNAL ORGANS, AND REMOVE SELF-DESTRUCTIVE THOUGHT
PATTERNS.
Every Tuesday from Noon-1pm. Drop-Ins Welcome. New Students Please
Arrive 10-15 Early. Wear Light, Comfortable Clothing (Socks May Help)
and Be Prepared to Change the Way You Move! Use Your Current Class

A fun, creative yoga program for kids that teaches body & breath
awareness in children's developing bodies. Kids will learn the basics
of yoga using fun and animated postures and learn discipline and
self-control through stillness and meditation.

Thank you to all that participated in
YogaDay USA at the Cedar Street Bridge. We had over 50 beautiful
yogis flowing to the live music of Sandpoint's Mick Croon and we
raised $315 for Kinderhaven.
Thanks again for helping to make the
first annual YogaDay USA in Sandpoint a huge success. |
